After the "Zira" - "Qarabag" game (1:3) of the fifth round of the current Premier League, the press conference of our team's head coach Gurban Gurbanov was held. An experienced specialist expressed his opinion about the meeting:
"I congratulate my players. It was an important win. It was a very interesting game. Players of both teams played a dynamic game. Congratulations to both teams. Thanks to our fans, they were with us again. There will be a break due to the games of the national team. Some of our players will rest for a few days, while others will go to the national teams. I wish them and our nation success."
The head coach also spoke about the new format of the UEFA Europa League and the opponents in the League stage: "It is an interesting format. We will have a minimum of 8 games. We will play against 8 different teams. It will be interesting for the fans. But it is more difficult for us. Because we will know the opponents game by game. In any case, the calendar is the same for everyone. Some teams are even at the Champions League level. We will try to represent our country properly and make it a memorable year for our fans."
The experienced specialist also evaluated the performance of new transfer Emmanuel Addai, who scored in his debut game: "It was his first game, and the opponent was not an easy team. This was Addai's first match in the last 3-4 months. Nevertheless, I was satisfied with him both in terms of physical indicators and adaptation to the team game. It has the potential to be better."
