After the Misli Premier League Round 8 match between Turan Tovuz and Qarabağ (1:2), our team’s head coach, Gurban Gurbanov, held a press conference. The experienced specialist shared his thoughts on the game:

Gurban Gurbanov also spoke about the upcoming away match against Spain’s Athletic Club in the third round of the UEFA Champions League group stage, scheduled for October 22: “We haven’t fully analyzed Athletic yet, but I’ve been following them. Starting today, we’ll focus on every detail individually. Every team has its own strengths. To stop them, we must stay focused on the pitch. According to statistics, Athletic is one of the most dynamic teams in football — they were even at the top in that regard. We’ll try to improve our own game and find ways to neutralize their style of play.”
