Our team played its next match. “Qarabag” Bizon started competing in the 2025/26 season of the Azerbaijan Cup.
Our team, which started the competition in the 1/8 finals, met with “Karvan-Yevlax”. The match took place at “Azersun Arena”.

The match was dominated by our team. Qarabag, which launched successive attacks, could not find a way to the opponent’s goal until the break.
The fate of the match was decided in the second half. Our team’s attacks bore fruit at the end of the match. Nariman Akhundzade found a way to the guests’ goal in the 80th minute.
Shortly after, Qarabag increased the gap. Our team’s attack resulted in an own goal by the opponent. In the last minutes, Nariman made his double official – 3:0. Thus, our team won a ticket to the 1/4 finals with a big victory.
It should be noted that “Qarabag” will face “Shamakhi” in the 1/4 finals. The first matches of the stage, which will take place in 2026, will take place on February 3-4, and the return matches on March 3-4. Our team will play the first match away.
