The head coach of our team, Gurban Gurbanov, who is in Austria for a training camp, made a statement to our website. He expressed his thoughts on today’s friendly match with the Austrian club “Salzburg” (1:2):
“It was a good match. We played against a very good team with quality players and a unique style of play. It is true that our team was not in optimal condition. But we had a good preparation. It was our last match in the training camp. The players came to this match loaded. I was satisfied with both the last match and the general preparation”.
The specialist also assessed the general condition of the team: “The team’s condition is normal. It takes some time to get into optimal sports form. We will feel it from game to game. In general, each player has better potential today. After a few official games, they will improve their sports form. From now on, they will complement each other better on the field”.
